Terms of Service for Loop

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Loop ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Loop is a mobile application that enables couples to save, organize, and act on shared experiences through collaborative wishlist management with real-time synchronization.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information

  • You are responsible for maintaining account security

  • One person, one account policy applies

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Loop

Partner Connections

  • You may link your account with one partner

  • Both parties must consent to the connection

  • Either party may disconnect at any time

4. User Content

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create

  • You grant us a license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service

  • You are responsible for your content's accuracy and legality

Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

  • Violates any laws or regulations

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights

  • Contains malware or harmful code

  • Is abusive, defamatory, or threatening

  • Violates the privacy of others

4A. Content Safety & Community Guidelines

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Loop maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any user who violates these guidelines will have their content removed and their account suspended or terminated.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on Loop:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability

  • Threats of violence or harm

  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material

  • Spam, scams, or misleading content

  • Impersonation of others

  • Content that promotes illegal activities

  • Sharing of others' private information without consent

Reporting & Blocking

Users have the right and ability to: (a) Report objectionable content or abusive behavior directly within the app. Reports can be submitted on chat messages, shared ideas, and user profiles. (b) Block abusive users. Blocking immediately removes the blocked user's content from your view and severs the partner connection.

Developer Response

We are committed to reviewing all reports within 24 hours of submission. Upon finding a violation, we will: (a) Remove the objectionable content, (b) Suspend or terminate the offending user's account, (c) Take any additional action necessary to maintain a safe environment.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor content, investigate reports, and take enforcement action at our discretion. Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account termination.

5. Privacy

Your use of Loop is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Third-Party Services

Loop integrates with third-party services (Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

Loop, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without compensation or attribution.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access

  • Interfere with the App's operation

  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App

  • Use automated systems to access the App

  • Impersonate others or create false identities

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Illegal or harmful activities

  • Extended periods of inactivity

  • Our discretion with or without notice

10. Disclaimers

Service Availability

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available"

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

  • We may modify or discontinue features without notice

No Warranties

We make no warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy or reliability of content

  • The results obtained from using the App

  • The meeting of your requirements or expectations

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

  • We are not responsible for third-party content or services

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

If you use Loop on iOS:

  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content

You may not use or export the App in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations.
